Tour a neighboring Town – a short water taxi ride from Casa Colina is the bustling but quaint town of Barra de Navidad. This rustic beach village is home to long stretches of virgin beaches and breath-taking lagoons where you can engage in numerous fun activities like scuba diving, snorkeling, kayaking, horseback riding, sport fishing, as well as an array of local bar life and casual restaurants.

Get to know more about the local area by visiting its market filled with authentic shops or walking along its charming cobblestone streets. The town, which used to be a Spanish fleet harbor in the 17th Century, has a very laidback atmosphere that will instantly put you at ease.
Take a Volcano Trek – Don’t leave your holiday villa without visiting the five-million-year-old Colina volcano. Getting to the volcano can be challenging but once you reach the peak and have an up-close view, you’ll be thankfull you made the trek.
